Karl Ameriks
Karl P. Ameriks (ur. 1947) to amerykański filozof . Jest profesorem filozofii McMahon-Hank na Uniwersytecie Notre-Dame-du-Lac . Ameriks jest studentem Yale University , AB, summa cum laude (1969), doktorat w 1973 roku, gdzie pisze pracę magisterską pod kierunkiem Karstena Harriesa. Uważany jest za jednego z czołowych badaczy filozofii Kanta i obszernie pisał o historii filozofii kontynentalnej i nowożytnej. Ameriks jest współautorem serii Cambridge Texts w historii filozofii. W 2009 roku został wybrany na członka Amerykańskiej Akademii Sztuki i Nauki .
