Fakelore
Fakelore „fałszywa tradycja” lub „folkloryzm literacki”, jest nieautentyczne i fabrykowane folklor przedstawiony przez mythographer lub w podrabianych jako wynikające z tradycji. Termin może odnosić się do nowej historii lub piosenki skonstruowanej od podstaw lub do folkloru, który został przerobiony i zmodyfikowany pod kątem współczesnych gustów, często w celach komercyjnych.
Pochodzenie terminu
Anglojęzyczny termin „ fakelore ”, słowo składające się z „ fake ” i „ lore ”: (zwyczaj) został ukuty przez amerykańskiego folklorystę Richarda M. Dorsona w 1950 roku.
