Lucienne Molitor jest tłumaczem powieści z języka francuskiego.
Znana jest głównie z pierwszego pełnego tłumaczenia powieści Dracula autorstwa Brama Stokera , opublikowanego w 1963 r. Przez wydawnictwa Marabout , wielokrotnie wznawianego i do dziś odwołuje się do tłumaczeń wykonanych przez Jacquesa Finné w 1979 r. I Jacquesa Sirgenta w 2010 r.
Wśród jego tłumaczeń, możemy zauważyć kilka wielkich klasyków literatury, takich jak David Copperfield przez Charlesa Dickensa , Gulliver „s Travels autorstwa Jonathana Swifta , The Przygody Hucka autorstwa Marka Twaina i Vanity Fair przez William Makepeace Thackeray , a także dwa powieści George'a Eliota . Jej tłumaczenie Przygody Huckleberry Finn jest krytykowane przez Christine Raguet jako „adaptacja translacyjna” , Judith Lavoie zarzuca jej w szczególności wybór adresu pomiędzy Jimem a Huckiem. Jeśli jego tłumaczenie Draculi jest często chwalone, Michel Meurger oskarża go o „osłabienie lub pominięcie” pewnych metaforycznych aluzji.
