Asa Briggs , baron Briggs , urodzony dnia7 maja 1921w Keighley ( West Yorkshire ) i zmarł dnia15 marca 2016 rw Lewes ( East Sussex ) jest brytyjskim historykiem specjalizującym się w epoce wiktoriańskiej . Jest on szczególnie znany z trylogii wiktoriańskich Ludzie , Victorian miast i wiktoriańskie Rzeczy , które wpłynęły trwające specjalistycznych historyków XIX th century.
Biografia
Urodzony w Keighley w West Yorkshire , Asa Briggs studiował w Keighley Boys 'Grammar School , ukończył Bachelor of Arts w Sidney Sussex College w Cambridge w 1941 oraz Bachelor of Science in Economics na International Programs of' London University , również w 1941.
